A & B Shearing Legal Consultants Limited (ABS Legal) is a newly established company which comenced trading on 1^st April 2024.

The directors and shareholders are Brian Shearing and Alison Shearing.

Areas of specialism include:

• Pensions – most aspects including trusteeship
• Investment – product development, manager selection and review, appropriateness
• Collective Investment Schemes – mostly UK authorised but also those based in Luxembourg and Dublin. Fund accounting, unit pricing, etc
• Wrap platforms – including pension, ISA and GIA wrappers
• Commercial contracts – reviewing, drafting, maintaining, etc
• Market research – surveys, due diligence
• Life Assurance – products, tax aspects, legislation and regulation
• Tax – returns for collectives and other institutional businesses

It is intended that ABSLegal will provide services of a legal and regulatory nature to financial institutions. No advice will be given to retail investors.
